Dr. Hester grew up locally in Berrien County. After graduating from Georgia Tech, he was a Naval Flight Officer in the US Navy. He graduated from The Medical College of Georgia with a dental degree and was a general dentist in Nashville, Georgia before going back to school to pursue a graduate degree in orthodontics. He has practiced orthodontics in Valdosta since 1988. An avid bicyclist, Dr. Hester also loves to spend time with his children at the family farm in Berrien County.
Dr. Hester explains his love of orthodontics: "It is a thrill to create a beautiful smile and a healthy, functional bite. The result is always improved self-esteem and confidence."
